Laurel Latto, Artist
All of the artwork and photography on DonnaBellas was created by Laurel. She was said to be drawing before she could walk. Laurel has also had an interest in science, which led her to obtain a B.S. in Biochemistry & Cell Biology from U.C., San Diego and a Visual Arts Minor.
Throughout her art career, Laurel has worked on a variety of projects from media production to commissioned art. Previously, she volunteered her time to a children’s dental health foundation, Share the Care. Laurel provided illustrations and copy layout for an arts and crafts manual for educators. For her efforts, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors recognized her as "Volunteer of the Month" ( February 2003).
She also works with local alumnae groups for San Diego AOII Alumnae and San Diego Alumnae Panhellenic. She is a Past President for both organizations and designed their websites.
Laurel consults both as an artist and in clnical research. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She obtain a certificate in Clinical Trials Design and Management (1998) from UCSD Extension. She is a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) since 2000. Laurel is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the Drug Information Association.
