Kitty Scream

A lighthearted comical tribute to the stress of life. The swirling sky and sea capture the haywire moment when you realize that you just lost any illusion or hope of control. Inspired by Edvard Munch's, "The Scream." Rendered in gouache.

The painting shows a surprised village that has just discovered that they lost their village idiot. The sign on the door reads "LeFT 4 BiZnEss joB in tHe Sitty- V.I." The quote at the top confirms, "Yes, somewhere in the world a village misses its idiot."
