| Binky, Blankey, Balloon: This painting is of my sister holding my niece at her birthday party. My niece has her favorite things of her pacifier, purple blanket, and a balloon. She is in her favorite color of pink. With all these favorite things, it is never complete without a kiss and hug from her beloved mommy, my sister. I love this image because it has sweet tenderness of a private mother and daughter in a moment in the midst of toddler birthday party chaos. I like the peace they both have during the brief moment for a hug and kiss. |
